FAQ

If we simply used a garden hose, we could get rid of plenty of dirt, grime, and goo, but we couldn’t get it all. A high-pressure washer is one of the best ways to clean surfaces. We strive to get the best possible results, and high pressure is one part of that equation.

You will note that we use water that is at least 190F. This heat is important because it loosens the grime and goop and helps sanitize. Think of it like this: Would you wash your dishes in cold water? Of course not, because cold water does not loosen oil, grease, and other stubborn things that can stick to surfaces.

When was the last time you cleaned your bins? Did you get every nook and cranny clean? Were your bins simply hosed down, or were they truly cleaned and sanitized? When you have North Texas Trash Bin Cleaners clean your bins, they are cleaned and sanitized to remove 99.9% of bacteria, all trail of odors, and all the grime and gunk you don’t want to deal with.

Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority. We will make every effort to get your bins as clean as possible! We want them all to look brand new, but the reality is that most garbage bins have been heavily abused for many years. We will use several different techniques to remove stubborn stains and gunk, but sometimes it takes multiple treatments to get everything off the inside. This is another reason we recommend our subscription plans. Your bins will continue to get better and better with each treatment. All that said, if you are not happy with the result, then we are not happy. Please reach out if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, and we will do what it takes to make it right for you!

Nope. Our cleaning trucks usually only use hot water and high pressure to clean and sanitize. We use an environmentally friendly biodegradable odor neutralizer, and occasionally (often for first time can cleaning) we may also use a biodegradable degreaser to loosen things up. Also, all of the wastewater from this process is collected on the truck, and taken with us to be processed properly. The only thing left behind are clean, freshly sanitized bins.

Nope!  Our trash bin cleaning subscriptions are completely customizable. You can adjust the service interval, pause service, reschedule, or stop at any time after only 3 cleanings.  However, we are confident you won’t want to go back to those nasty smelly cans!  Please read our full Service Terms and Conditions for all details.

Bacteria can thrive in your garbage bins, but the most common ones are Salmonella, E. Coli, and Listeria. Salmonella is bacteria usually found in eggs, uncooked poultry or raw meat. Germs associated with the common cold can make it into the garbage bin by discarded tissues and napkins that contain the virus. E. Coli is found in uncooked beef and other household foods like cucumber. Listeria can be found in many foods and thrive in colder temperatures. You should have your trash bins cleaned out, you will be glad you did because that bacteria lurking there, can cause some serious health issues.

We would prefer the trash bins to be empty. Our technician will remove 1 to 2 bags of trash, clean your trash bins, and then place the bags back inside when done.

NOTE: We reserve the right not to provide service if:

  • Unbagged trash – including excessive loose trash, yard clippings, diapers or animal waste.
  • Hazardous waste – including chemicals, paint, glue, or other adhesives.
  • Building materials – including plaster, stucco, or concrete.

No. Each container has its own identity and only trash bins that have a scheduled service will be cleaned.

Yes. The cost is higher because trash bins that are not cleaned routinely, will take much longer to clean.

Please note: Our technicians will try their very best to get your trash bins clean. However, there is no guarantee all the grime and build-up will be removed with a one-time cleaning. Depending on the amount and type of build-up on the trash bins and how long ago they were last cleaned.  Your trash bins could require more than a one-time cleaning. For this reason, we do offer a monthly payment option exclusively to our one-time customers. After the one-time cleaning you can elect to continue the service each month, with the monthly payment option, and discontinue the service at any time, with a minimum of three cleaning.

We have found that some of the trash or recycle bins we service can take a few cleaning cycles to remove the grime that has built up over time. We will eliminate any odors and germs every time we clean your bins.

We recommend cleaning your bins on a monthly basis.

There is no trash bin too dirty; however, there are circumstances that we refuse the right to not service if it would be a hazard or liability to us. Some examples include:

  • Broken/Cracked/Damaged Bins
  • Un-bagged Pet Waste
  • Wet Paint

We also ask that all loose garbage is removed from your bin prior to us cleaning and sanitizing your bin. See Terms of Service for more details.

No. We use an environmentally friendly, biodegradable deodorizer to effectively neutralize odors.
